Scott Kern, LMHC, is a board-certified licensed mental health counselor with over 25 years of professional experience. He earned his Master of Arts in Counseling from Reformed Theological Seminary in Oviedo, FL, and holds a Bachelor of Science from Grand Valley State University in Allendale, MI. Recently, Scott served as a mental health counselor at the University of Central Florida in Orlando. Before that, he was an assistant director and Title IX investigator at Stetson University in DeLand, a child and adult protective investigator for the Florida Department of Children and Families in Orlando and a mental health counselor at Florida Counseling Foundation in Casselberry, Florida. He began his career in law enforcement in Illinois. Scott is a member of the Knights of Columbus and has volunteered as a counselor for Hand in Hand Lake County and as a member of the Civilian Review Board for the Seminole County Sheriff’s Office.
