Biography

Saleem Toro, MD, is a board-certified internist and cardiologist with over 13 years of experience. He earned his Doctor of Medicine at the University of Kalamoon School of Medicine in Der Atyeh, Syria and a master’s degree in health care ethics from Duquesne University in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Dr. Toro completed a fellowship in cardiovascular medicine at Houston Methodist Hospital in Houston, Texas, and an advanced heart failure fellowship at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville, Tennessee. Before that, Dr. Toro completed an internal medicine residency and internship at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation in Cleveland, Ohio. Dr. Toro is fluent in English and Arabic.
