Rawi Ruiz-Vazquez, APRN, earned a Master of Science in Nursing, family nurse practitioner from Ana G. Mendez University in Gurabo, Puerto Rico and holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Ana G. Mendez University in Gurabo, Puerto Rico. Rawi has been a nurse since 2015 and since 2018, Rawi has been a nurse at The VA Caribbean Health Care System in San Juan, Puerto Rico, where he has served as a general RN in Behavioral care, Intensive Care Unit and gastroenterology and as APRN in primary care. Fluent in English and Spanish, Rawi volunteered as a translator and flu vaccine nurse on medical missions to homeless populations and hurricane victims throughout Puerto Rico.
