Peter Hendricks, DNP, grew up in Kansas City, Kansas and completed a bachelor’s degree in microbiology at The University of Kansas in 2008. Subsequently, he worked as a research assistant in lung and breast cancer research labs at the University of Kansas Medical Center and the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus before going back for a degree in nursing at the University of Colorado in 2014. After which, he was a nurse at the University of Colorado Hospital for nine years, the majority was in the Cardiothoracic Intensive Care Unit. Peter returned to school once again and completed a combined Family Nurse Practitioner and Doctorate of Nursing Practice degree at Johns Hopkins in 2023.

Peter enjoys spending time with his wife and four-year-old daughter. Whenever he can, he enjoys international travel, skiing, exploring new cities and finding delicious food wherever he goes.
