Kristi Swim attended the University of Mississippi, where she obtained a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. She has enjoyed caring for cardiology patients since her first nursing position at the University of Virginia in a cardiac ICU. After arriving in Colorado for a travel nursing position, she quickly realized Denver was her new home. She continued her studies at Regis University and earned a Master of Science with a specialty as a Family Nurse Practitioner. After a few years in the specialty of neurology, she returned to my passion for cardiology. Kristi's focus became cardiothoracic surgery for the past five years before joining SDCA in June 2018.
