Julia Woody, PA-C

Julia Woody, PA-C, felt called to surgical oncology through a deep desire to support patients during some of the most vulnerable moments of their lives. She is inspired by the courage and resilience of individuals facing a cancer diagnosis and considers it a profound honor to walk beside them through uncertainty, fear, and hope. In addition to treating cancers of the female reproductive organs - including cervical, ovarian, uterine, vaginal, and vulvar cancers - Julia also cares for patients with complex noncancerous conditions such as severe endometriosis, fibroids, and ovarian cysts. A Colorado native, Julia earned her undergraduate degree in Human Development and Family Studies with an emphasis in biomedical services from Colorado State University. She went on to complete her Master of Physician Assistant Studies (MPAS) at Gardner-Webb University in North Carolina and later obtained a postgraduate certification in surgical oncology from Banner MD Anderson in Gilbert, Arizona. These experiences strengthened her commitment to excellence and deepened her passion for caring for patients navigating complex gynecologic cancers and conditions.

Julia’s care philosophy centers on treating every patient as she would a family member or friend. She is dedicated to compassionate, patient-centered care, building trusting relationships, and honoring each person’s unique healthcare journey. Through evidence-based practice and a collaborative team approach, she strives to support the whole person—addressing physical, emotional, mental, and social needs to promote healing, well-being, and quality of life for her patients and their loved ones.
