Jeffrey Fischer, MD, FACS

Jeffrey Fischer, MD, is a board-certified urologist with over 30 years of experience. He earned his medical degree at the University of Florida College of Medicine in Gainesville, FL. Dr. Fischer completed his internship and residency training at Washington Hospital Center in Washington, DC, where he became chief resident. He has served the Kissimmee community for his entire career. Dr. Fischer has authored numerous publications and presentations, and he is dedicated to providing whole-person care to his patients, treating body, mind and spirit.

Dr. Fischer is an avid photographer whose work is displayed in the preoperative area of the AdventHealth Kissimmee operating room as well as other AdventHealth facilities across Central Florida. Beyond photography, he enjoys woodworking and baking. In his free time, Dr. Fischer values being with his family, including his wife of more than 40 years, their six children, and four grandchildren.

Medical Leadership & Affiliations

With more than 35 years of practice in Kissimmee, Dr. Fischer has held numerous leadership roles. He has served as Patient Safety Officer and Chief of Staff at Florida Hospital Kissimmee and Osceola Regional Medical Center. Most recently, he retired as Chief of the Surgery Section at AdventHealth Kissimmee, a position he held for many years. In these capacities, he contributed to the Patient Safety Committee, Surgical Steering Committee, and Medical Staff Leadership Committee.

Dr. Fischer is committed to the Whole Care experience, providing individualized care tailored to each patient’s unique needs. He believes strongly in shared decision-making, ensuring that patients and their families are active partners in the process of developing the best treatment plan. His guiding principle is to care for every patient as if they were a member of his own family.
