Gustavo Ramirez, APRN

Gustavo Ramirez is a board-certified advanced practice registered nurse with over 5 years of experience in renal, liver, and multi-visceral transplants. Originally from Venezuela, Gustavo earned a medical degree from Carabobo University in Maracay, Venezuela. He completed an internal medicine residency at Central Hospital Maracay in Venezuela, and a gastroenterology fellowship at Central University of Venezuela in Caracas. Gustavo further specialized in hepatology training at Medical Institute La Floresta in Caracas. In the United States, Gustavo obtained a post-master's certificate as a family nurse practitioner from Miami Regional University in Miami Springs, FL. Gustavo has worked as a kidney-pancreas transplant nurse practitioner at the Miami Transplant Institute and in the gastroenterology department at the University of Miami.
