Daniel Hamman, MD

Daniel Hamman, MD, FAAOS, ABOS, is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon. Dr. Hamman sees patients ages 16 and older for comprehensive shoulder and knee care. This includes shoulder pain, knee pain, rotator cuff tears, shoulder instability, labral tears, shoulder dislocations, arthritis, shoulder fractures, meniscus tears, ACL tears, knee arthritis, patellar dislocations and sports injuries. Dr. Hamman is passionate about being able to help people get back to enjoying an active, pain-free life.

Dr. Hamman earned his medical degree from the University of Colorado School of Medicine and his undergraduate degree from Colgate University. He completed an orthopedic surgery residency at Stanford University and his fellowship at Steadman Hawkins Sports Medicine Clinic. He’s a member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons.

As a Colorado native, Dr. Hamman loves to spend time in his community, as well as golfing, hiking and traveling.

Dr. Hamman strives to treat each patient with compassion, respecting their individual goals and aspirations for recovery. He encourages non-operative treatment where and when appropriate and returns patients to active lifestyles as safely and swiftly as possible after surgery.
