Christopher R Johnson, MD

Christopher Johnson, MD, is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon. Dr. Johnson pursued medicine and orthopedic surgery in particular because he is passionate about helping others stay active and healthy. Dr Johnson sees adults in the Denver metro area for spine and joint conditions like back pain, neck pain, degenerative disk disease, scoliosis, cervical myelopathy, cervical radiculopathy, lumbar radiculopathy, disk herniation and spine fractures.

Dr. Johnson received his medical degree from the University of Colorado School of Medicine. He completed his surgical residency at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles, Calif., and a spine surgery fellowship at Stanford University.

When not caring for patients, Dr. Johnson enjoys spending time with his wife and son. He likes to stay active by running, skiing and exercising.

Dr. Johnson takes a holistic approach to patient care. His approach to spine surgery is to exhaust all conservative options before considering surgery. When spine surgery is necessary, he always tries to minimize the extent of surgery to provide the maximal benefit to the patient.
